When Alexander Fankhauser opened his first own restaurant in 1999 right in the hotel of his parents, the telephones would not stop ringing. The charming and successful TV cook’s reputation had been hurrying ahead of him to 1,500 metres above sea level. The expectations were high and were completely met.
